Linka Energy A/S is among the world's leading developers of fully automatic high-quality biomass plants. Linka was founded in 1978. The company focuses on the development and optimization of environmentally friendly forms of energy based on biomass.
The operating philosophy ensures a functioning total economy through a number of clear advantages: Maximum utilisation of the fuel, high operating reliability, low energy consumption, minimum maintenance costs, and fully automated plants. The plant sizes ranges from 100 - 15,000 kW - and the primary fuel types are straw, wood chips and wood pellets, but also more exotic biofuels like bana grass and olive stones.
Throughout the past 40 years Linka has installed more than 3,500 biomass plants worldwide. The company employs around 45 people working in administration, sales, construction, project management, production, service and installation.
PRODUCTS
Linka offers customized solutions based on the single customer's situation and needs – as a sub-/component supplier or turnkey contractor.
The project range consists of:
Hot water / High pressure hot water plant: Primarily used for heating residents, schools, industrial premises, stables etc., but can also be used for process heat.
Steam plant: For process industry, where higher temperatures or pressures are required, e.g. within the food and beverage sectors, laundry services, etc.
Mobile plant: For heat provision in inaccessible areas, e.g. satellite towns, where no main supply has been established, or for industrial premises with no boiler room.
IED/WID boiler: Specially designed boiler for burning waste wood and other wood products. Often used by companies with residue wood from production or likewise.
