Established on practical experience and technical expertise, Balling-Bro specializes in systems and technology for plant cultivation. Balling-Bro delivers insights and analysis of individual companies, followed by the development of tailored solutions through practical designs. The founder, Jakob Balling Bro Sørensen, is educated as a farmer and mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience, including internationally, in agricultural machinery production. With a team of specialized employees, Balling-Bro contributes solutions for complex issues within agriculture through detail-oriented work.

Projects that Balling-Bro is involved in:

-       Development and production of a new type of harvester that is lighter, thereby reducing damage to the fields.

-       Balling-Bro got funding from the Danish Innovation Fund to develop a field-biochar system that can convert biomass into permanent biochar, meaning that it does not decompose and release CO2 into the atmosphere.

-       Balling-Bro is drafting a concept for future harvesting, in which environmental considerations and the possibility for future autonomic systems are in focus. The essentials of the project include reduction of CO2 emissions as well as flexibility in the operation and using a maximum of versatile equipment and less special machinery.
