COMPANY PROFILE

Frejma, established in 2018, has wide competences within agricultural machine design. The company is driven by a young, but experienced team of engineers. Frejma shares ownership and location with the consulting company Phidan Engineering, who works with advising, idea generation, development and production of machinery. The two companies have since the startup of Frejma, worked closely together.

PRODUCTS

Together with Phidan, Frejma practices all stages of machine development, staring with idea generation, project description and 3D-sketching, continuing with exact calculations, prototype production and testing, and ending with project startup and full line production. The latest product develop by the two companies are a weed roots exposer, which allow organic farmers to combat difficult root weeds, such as couch grass. The idea behind the machine is simple – Allow the sun or frost to dry out the weed roots by exposing the roots from the soil.

Currently is the Root-up 4000 the only product on the market. The Root-up 4000 is a 4-meter-wide machine that work in a depth of 20 cm. In total, the machine has 60 tines with an internal distance of 67mm. That ensures that 90 % of all roots are exposed. A steel belt separates soil from the roots before the roots are spread evenly across the whole working wide.
